Nora Ni Fhlannagain

Nóra Ní Fhlannagáin BSc (Hons) RD MSc currently lives and practices in Ennis, Co. Clare in the West of Ireland. Nóra holds an honours degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland, and a Master of Science in Applied Sports and Exercise Nutrition from Oxford Brookes University in England.

Nóra has gained experience working with a wide array of sports teams including Oxford University Rowing Clubs, Modern Pentathlon Ireland and Paralympics Ireland. Nóra spent 4 years as Performance Nutritionist for Age-Grade Rugby with the IRFU, with a focus on developing nutrition education tools for young rugby players.

She has also provided nutrition support to the Galway Senior Hurling Team, Irish Women’s XV Rugby Squad, Ireland Women’s 7’s and athletes from the Irish Track Cycling team. Following years of experience with Irish Rugby, Nóra moved back to Ennis, Co Clare. She is a lecturer in Sports Nutrition and Public Health Nutrition at the Atlantic Technological University Galway, and co-ordinates the only SENR-accredited MSc Applied Sport & Exercise Nutrition in the Republic of Ireland.
