MATERIALS TESTING

The center is home to a wealth of testing equipment such as a vertical and horizontal tensile testers (an Instron 5544 and a Zwick Z010). The cohort of quality and design engineers at MET make use of this lab in the testing of client samples and in the production of samples made to suit client and industry needs.

All equipment is fully calibrated and excellently maintained. The MET gateway itself is ISO 9001 Certified. A full report on the findings of materials testing will be provided on the completion of a study.
