Paula graduated with a BSc Nutritional Science from UCC and completed a research PhD examining sensory decline due to aging. She is a registered Nutritionist with the AfN and a Lecturer on the BSc Public Health Nutrition, BSc Sport and Exercise Science and MSc Sports and Exercise Nutrition programmes in Atlantic Technical University Galway, Ireland.
She is also the coordinator of the MSc Nutrition and Food Sensory Science at the University. Her research interests lie within women’s health and ageing. She has experience in both academic and clinical practice in women’s health. Paula has many years’ experiences in conducting surveys, sensory analysis, data analysis and research interviews. She is also skilled and experienced at carrying out and summarising academic research.
