Sebastien Dubois is a Research & Development Engineer at the Medical and Engineering Technologies (MET) Centre within ATU Galway. He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NUI Galway and has a strong background in applied research, product development, and industrialisation for medical device applications.
Sebastien has worked on multiple industry-led R&D projects, with experience in the design and manufacture of anatomical models, test rigs, and sensors development. His work includes developing products through silicone dipping processes, injection moulding and carrying out mechanical and electrical characterisation to support product validation and scale-up manufacturing.
He has experience collaborating closely with medical device companies in Ireland, contributing to the development of innovative solutions.
