Business Development Engineer

With a passion for Design Thinking, ICT and Business Analysis, I have extensive senior management experience primarily within the Technology, Education and Finance sectors, working with start-up, SME and MNC leadership teams during periods of high growth and downsizing in Ireland and internationally. I have held senior leadership roles with small and large public and private sector organisations (Accenture, Trinity College, Fineos, Nortel, Logica, the Queensland Government, Brent Council) engaging with industry, government and academic networks, providing strategic insights and expertise with a clear emphasis on achieving and exceeding KPI’s.

While working with Trinity’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship Hub as Programme Manager for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, I enthusiastically engaged with internal and external partners to deliver KPI’s across undergraduate, postgraduate and corporate programmes by working closely with staff, students, faculty, alumni, stakeholders and the wider business community.

In addition to creating, promoting and delivering workshops and industry engagement programmes with strategic partners, I have managed and mentored multidisciplinary project teams in Ireland and internationally on business, leadership, strategy, digital marketing and financial frameworks including; Design Thinking, PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, Belbin, Tuckman, Business Modelling, Storyboarding, Lean Business & Value Proposition Models.

My postgraduate work includes an MSc in Management (Honours 2:1), Leadership (First Class Honours), Digital Marketing (First Class Honours), Design Thinking, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (First Class Honours & Top Overall Student Grade). Other qualifications include Prince2 Project Management, ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental).
